Nothing could be better for Israel, than promoting the creativity of its citizens and improving the lifestyle factors that drive global competitiveness.

Professionals in “creative industries” – writers, poets, editors, artists, entertainers, interior and fashion designers, gallerists, curators, producers, critics, bloggers, and other opinion makers – power economic development. Through enriching opportunities in education, intellectually-oriented leisure, and meaningful social relationships, they foster an environment in which all forms of creativity – artistic, scientific, and entrepreneurial - can flourish and thrive.

Improving the engagement of creative professionals coming or returning to Israel requires:

Introducing them to the existing ecosystem and infrastructure - exhibitions, galleries, grant programs, residency programs, job databases, and more.

Supporting cultural exchange projects in which the creators themselves act as cultural ambassadors for Israel, promoting it globally through their own networks.

Professional Recognition and Financial Assistance

The Application Form to the Professional Committees for New Immigrant and Returning Resident Artists is available through an employment counselor in the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration's region or branch. Application documents are reviewed by professional committees in the following fields: cinema and television, dance and choreography, theater and performance, music and composition, plastic arts and literature.
