The importance of sports cannot be overstated in the process of integration in Israel. Moving to any new country can be challenging, bringing up many questions, especially for new immigrants and returning Israelis. That’s why continuing your child's involvement in sports is paramount to the process of building new communities and reaching new heights of achievement.
Children and teenagers coming from the former Soviet Union come from a culture that prioritizes outstanding athletic abilities. Many are gifted young stars who deserve every opportunity to keep shining. But if they don’t have those opportunities, it can jeopardize their successful integration and impact their family.
